Wildwood or Bust!

Today the robotics team is going to Wildwood. Or, most of the students are anyway. YES, it's pouring down rain here in my town. YES, it's probably raining down at the shore as well. But do we care? NOPE!!! Mrs. Danner has made up plans specifically if it rains and we can't go down to the beach. Tho, some of us will go down to the beach anyway.... ;) I'm sorry, being on a beach when it's raining is fun lol I love having family who owns houses on beaches or lives down the street from one. It always works to my advantage lol
But, like I was saying...haha
Today is my last day in Jersey. And I get to spend it down in Wildwood. With my boyfriend of 8 months and my friends who I've grown close to over the past year or two. Ok, only some of them have I grown close to....lol But, it'll be tons of fun. Especially since like I said, my last day in Jersey is being spent with my boyfriend <3 and it's his last day before he goes to Boys State tomorrow. Of course, I have the longer trip (California to visit my dad), but.....LOL
I'll take as many pictures as I can....If I remember to haha I'm gonna try to bribe Collin into going into the photo booth thingy with me....I dunno if I'll be successful or not....Denise or Tonya, ya wanna help me on this one? Hahah
I hope everybody has a fun day! I'll post something Sunday night when I get to my dad's house.

Oh joy

This morning was good. I got to robotics, and Collin handed me the key to the Durango saying "Passenger side door. Careful when you open it." Once I was done eating my breakfast, I went out to the Durango and opened the door. What I saw was...


A dozen roses :) My mom gave me the key to her car, and I put my roses in there. I was so surprised to see them! I couldn't stop smiling tho.

Then things started to go downhill. All the students stayed away from the workshop, and for good reason too. The mentors were pissed. The robot wasn't working right. We almost didn't go to MOE's field either. =/ Finally, they got it fixed...Or, so they thought. But, during that time, Tonya, Fred, and Ally came cuz they were gonna go with us to Delaware. Well, Tonya was helping us with arts and crafts. lol Fred and Ally were walking around kinda, and then they went to Pedricktown to his grandparents.

Finally we got to MOE's field. Everything was semi-fine until Mr. Hinde told me to drive. Things started really messing up at that point, and when the robot started to run again, the key thing fell out of the gear box. Mr. Hinde thought that I was doing something wrong tho, so he started yelling kinda. Which caused me to start crying. I tried so hard to hide it too =/ Finally I stopped crying, but by that point they figured out what was wrong and we were packing up. Collin, Shannon and I brought the robot back outside to my uncle's truck. At first I was trying to help Collin put the robot into the bed of the truck, but I can't lift 117 lbs, or however much that robot weighs. It weighs more than me! And I can barely do push ups! lol So, Shannon helped with my side of the robot. We went back in, and Ally made stupid remarks.

We left, the majority of us pissed. At least the mentors haven't picked anybody to be drive team. Mom is gonna sit down and talk to Mr. Hinde and Mrs. Danner soon tho. And I think Tonya is gonna help my mom with that? All I know is that the two mentors are NOT gonna like Mom for alil while.

dumb, dumb, me lol

So, being the smartie that I am, I got grounded again. lol This time, the cell phone was taken away. And computer is only supposed to be used for robotics or homework. and right now, I'm using it for homework. Oh, and no Collin either. Tho, I see him almost everyday. And he is giving me a ride to school tomorrow so I can take a bio test.
But, on the brighter side...My scoliosis shifted a few degrees, but my doctor isn't concerned about it. =] YAY!! lol

Mall fun =]

Today was TONS of fun. At around 9:30 ish Collin picked me up. We went to Deptford after attempting to get the GPS system to work. Turns out my directions were a tad better than the GPS's were lol To a point anyway. When we got to Deptford, we went to the mall to get sticky buns for breakfast. We learned something too....Go to the mall in the morning. Wayy less crowded and easier to find a parking space haha. Once we were done eating, we walked to Hot Topic cuz Collin wanted to make fun of scene people. There were none there tho. But I did find some Twilight things I liked. Haha. Like an adorable zip up hoodie that said "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb" ....That has got to be one of my favorite quotes outta that book! Then we went into Spencers. I found an ADORABLE purse that's a Nightmare Before Christmas purse. I took a picture of it once I got home, but I can't get my computer to find the memory card. =[
Then we went to AMC8. We wanted to go to AMC6 tho. Once we figured out we were supposed to be at the other one, we got our butts moving and got over there in enough time. We saw Last Chance Harvey. Which was adorable. I'm pretty proud of myself....I've gotten Collin to watch more than one chick flick now....Go me! lol!!! We went to Best Buy to get ink cartridges for Tonya's printer and to get something for Collin's PS3. Then we went to Staples to buy black ink for my own printer.
We went back to the mall to get something to eat for lunch. We went to this place in the food court called Bourbon Street. It was some yummy bourbon chicken haha. Then we walked around for alil bit trying to find somewhere to go to kill some time.
Collin had told me awhile ago that when he was in the mall with Tonya, Ally, Michael, and Fred that Ally was making a bear at Build-A-Bear and he would get me one too, but he had no money. Well...He asked me today if I wanted one. Which, of course, I did. So, we went to Build-A-Bear and I picked out a pink monkey. They have it for Valentine's Day. Once I picked it out, we got in line to stuff the bear. The two guys in front of us were making dogs for their girlfriends, and one of the girlfriends called. The side of the conversation we heard was pretty funny. He couldn't tell her what he was doing really cuz the stuffed dogs were a surprise haha. When it was our turn to stuff it, Collin did all the work, including the heart thing. I had to laugh cuz the girl made him do everything but jump around. Haha. Tonya, I was gonna take pictures, but he wouldn't let me. And I couldn't sneak the camera outta my purse either. haha. Once we were done, I went and named it. You get one guess what I named it.....Took me alil while to come up with the name, but once I figured it out, it was like "Duhhhhh"......Take a guess Tonya. Haha. Again, I took a picture of the monkey, but my memory card (or possibly computer) is being dumb.
Once we got done paying for Padme (you knew that one Tonya, didn't you? hahaha), we had to leave in order to get him home by 5 ish. We had to stop at CVS in Swedesboro to pick up pictures for the corporate sponsor letters I'm sending out and go to Andy's house to drop off his brother's jersey. Finally we got back to my house at about 4:40 ish. After a good bye kiss and hug, he had to leave to get the Durango back to his dad.
It was a fun day, and I wish it didn't have to end. That and I wish his car was done. But, it'll be done soon, I know. I can't wait until the next day we have off. =] lol

Tree burning

So, there is this thing we do in Pedricktown. Our Christmas tree burning. We are the only town in Salem County who is legally allowed to do this. We've been doing it for so long, the county just lets us continue to do it each year. Tonight, we burned Christmas trees.


Doesn't it just look awesome?? lol there was tons of smoke since they put a TON of diesel fuel on it this year. They didn't think that they were gonna get it to light lol


That is Rachael's little sister Madison. She's so cute. She wanted to cook a hot dog for herself, so we grabbed one, and out of the firehouse she walked to one of the smaller fires haha. Rachael saw me walking out there with Madison, realized we were gonna cook a hot dog, and she ran after us haha. She ended up cooking it for Maddie cuz Maddie didn't feel like doing it herself or something....Gotta love 7 year olds. LOL


Rachael and me!! =] I seriously love this girl. Like, really. lol She's been there for me through everything, and I am soooo happy her dad took her to the tree burning this year. Todd, if you ever read this....THANK YOU!!!! haha =]


Hehehe kisses make me smile =] or, at least Collin's kisses do lol I went to take a picture of us after the tree burning since I had taken one just as it started. and just as I started taking the picture, he kissed me on my cheek, and the picture ended up being of him kissing me on the cheek. Tho, I'm not complaining. Haha =] Obviously it's not hard for him to get me to smile lol ;] lol

That's one of our special things we actually do in Pedricktown. One of very few lol The next thing Pedricktown will have will probably be Pedricktown Day in October. So, yea, we have very few things in Pedricktown that are awesome lol well, take what you get I guess lol

I love him

My boyfriend is simply amazing. I hadn't heard his voice since like, 12:30 EST yesterday and I was really upset. So, he called me like, a few minutes ago. And now I'm calming down alot. And, I love him sooooo much

I hate long days

Long days are the pits. Really, they are.
I'm so happy however. Cuz when my English teacher gave me back my research paper today, it said that it was a B and the comment underneath the grade said "very good" =] So glad too. Haha.
I've decided my boyfriend is just the best ever. Ok, so I really did know that before. But today he like totally went above and beyond what he usually does (kinda) lol. I've been like, totally stressed out lately and crap. It totally sucks. Well, he knew that I was not in the best moods this morning when I got to school. So, being the amazing boyfriend he was, he just stood there and held me once I dropped off my stuff in my first block class and let me just calm down as much as I could right then. And then right before he left, he told me that if it got to be too much and I just needed to go talk to Mrs. Burke (my guidance counselor) to text him and he would get out of class somehow and walk me down there. I didn't go down to her room, but even if I did, I wouldn't have texted him and asked him to come with me down there. Cuz I know Tonya and his mom wouldn't like that too much if he left class to make sure I was ok. Haha.
DuPont practice was pretty good actually today. I got like, 4 or 5 questions right, and there were some questions I answered before Bonny could....YAY me!! XD Haha. and now I'm sitting here eating lasagna after eating chicken nuggets. I'm starved obviously. Haha.
