Crazy Day

Today - and these past few days - have been CRAZY. Today especially tho. My "brother" decided he was dropping the engineering academy. All cuz of AP Chem. Then my NHS meeting got rescheduled for tomorrow, which meant that my AP Chem exam was rescheduled for today. (MeM said it could be tomorrow cuz the NHS meeting was during chem.) It's a good thing I studied last night for the test anyway.

Tho today wasn't all bad. It was sad at times, but not horrible. I guess I should give some background info....
For those of you that read my post about Mr. Marvin, you'll know just how much he meant to me. Today would have been his 81 birthday. And since he meant so much to me, I had really wanted to go to the cemetery today to pay him a little visit. I had asked Collin last night if there was a chance he could take me by there today, and when I called him this afternoon to see if he was picking me up, he did. We had to drop off an application for Radio Shack for him and we stopped at the new Dunkin Donuts in Woodstown and the McDonald's in Woodstown for him to apply to those places for jobs as well. And afterwards, he drove me to the cemetery apon my request.
When we got there, I got out of the car and kinda squatted down in front of the grave (he is buried right along the road and Collin pulled up right in front of the grave). I just kinda sat there for a little bit and whispered happy birthday to Marvin. Next thing I hear, Collin is opening up his door and he came around to sit next to me. I started to cry a little bit, and Collin held me the entire time. I didn't expect Collin to get out of the car and come sit next to me, let alone let me cry into him while sitting there. Like, I knew that he wouldn't mind it if I cried, but it was surprising that he even got out of the car to sit there with me.
When I mentioned him getting out of the car on our way back to my house, he said that even tho I didn't specifically ask for him to get out with me, he knew I wanted him to. Which was true. It meant alot to me that he did it on his own tho, without me asking him to.

I've put Collin through a lot of shit. I really have. Recently and as far back as when we met. Yet he has always been there for me, through thick and thin. If you ever read this Collin, thank you so much for always being there for me and for putting up with me and my weird mood swings and all my crap. You were a great best friend before we started dating, and now you're even more of a great best friend. I love you babyboy <3

Oh, how I am thankful for things/people

I'm very thankful today. And here are the things/people I am thankful for:

1) Mrs. Burke - She met with me today and listened to what I had to say about Mike. She said she was going to talk to him and have the vice principal talk to him as well. She says that they can't really write him up cuz no teacher actually heard him say it, but I'm pretty sure she is gonna try to. Either that, or I'll have other people tell her that they heard him say it, cuz I know they did.

2) Having a working lawn mower - Poppop cut the front yard, and I cut the rest of it today. On my awesome riding mower. You have no idea how happy I am about that. I learned how to mow my lawn with the push mower, and I hated every second of it. My grandfather's best friend promised me that when he died, I would get his John Deere. Well, his son tried to make my grandfather pay an ungodly price for it, so my grandfather said no. And now, the house that his friend lived in hasn't sold either. So, we're thinking that it's because Marvin's son didn't do what he wanted to. Back to my story....lol So, I didn't get the John Deere, but my grandfather did buy a different one from somebody down the street from us, so now I have a rider mower that works beautifully. :)

3) Drama from last year is behind almost everybody - Last year, there were some issues with some of the academy girls in the year ahead of me. They got worse in the beginning of the year, but after about a month or so of me and Collin going out, the issues got better. Now they are completely better and over with. And this afternoon right after school got done, Cara (one of the ones who didn't warm up to me right away) looked at me and said cheerfully, "See you tomorrow at prom!!" and gave me a big smile. Which makes me feel tons better cuz Collin and I are sitting with Cara, her boyfriend, Bonny, Sam, Christian, and a few other people tomorrow night at prom as well.

4) My friends - While yes, Cassie has now officially dropped out of school, she says she'll try her hardest to be at my house tomorrow to see me all dressed up and she'll definitely be at pre-prom to see me. My friend Addam (inside joke on his name lol) said that if Mike says anything again, he'll take care of things and then made me laugh by making fun of Mike. Montrey said that he'll back me up on things with Mike. Eric said that he'll back me up too.

5) My dad being a lawyer - Knowning that he is a lawyer helps me stay calm in most situations. I know that if nothing happens with Mike saying things that if I just mention that Dad is a lawyer and handles things like this periodically, something will be done about it. I also know that he goes into court for things all the time and he is always under stressful situations. Knowing that helps me realize that no matter how hard things get for me, I can always make it through them.

6) My boyfriend - You knew that one was gonna be put on here. I can be as mad as I want to be, and he is always able to make me laugh. No matter how crappy I think I look or how mad I am, he always makes me feel better by saying 3 simple words: I love you. He always thinks I look gorgeous and he can make me smile and laugh as if it's as simple as blinking.

My mind went blank on the other things I was going to write that I'm thankful for. I did have to say those 6 things tho. Like, I just had to.

DIG 18

Here is my Day in Grace for day 18. For the most part, today was a good day. :)

1) Today Collin and I celebrated being together for 6 months :) He took me out to Applebee's tonight for dinner. It was so great to spend time with him on our 6 months. :)

2) My ex boyfriend took me and my sister out to lunch today. Picked us up, paid for lunch, gave me a chocolate bunny (his from Easter lol) and then took us home in enough time so we didn't get in trouble.

3) I got to talk to my best friend even tho she is grounded. Her mom realized I really needed to talk to Rachael, so she texted Rach and said that she could talk to me on the phone. Rachael texted me, and I was able to tell her everything that I needed to finally. Hopefully Jenn lets Rach keep her phone now!! :)

4) I know of many people who I can trust with things. And they mean the world to me cuz I know they won't tell my secrets <3

5) This is an odd one, but here it is: I was so stressed out today that I cleaned the kitchen....Meaning, the counters got scrubbed, the floor got Swiffered, and the stove got wiped down too. When I get stressed, I clean the kitchen. I did that at my dad's house over the summer a few times. Both when I was stressed and when I got bored. But cleaning the kitchen helped me think alot of things out, so it really did help me out. And it also made my mom happy. :) Which is always a good thing. LOL

Picture Day in Grace

Ok, so today, I'm doing my Day in Grace (up to day 7 now) using pictures....I'll put what the picture means underneath tho lol

My hair got redone! :) Trimmed and my highlights were redone. There is ALOT more blonde in my hair than I expected at first....Oh well. I think they look good, and so does everybody else who saw them

Having friends to lean on when I need help. And knowing they are able to trust me with BIG secrets. Even if he does piss me off ALOT sometimes

Just plain having the best boyfriend I could ever dream of. And knowing that all I need to do if I'm upset or stressed is text him and he'll calm me down. :)

The man who jumped over Horseshoe Falls in Canada (at Niagara Falls) didn't die when he jumped. I dunno if he purposely jumped or what. But whichever it was, him surviving is definitely a miracle.

Knowing my best friend is there for me when I need her the most, whether I've seen her recently or not. She always knows just what to say to get me to cheer up, which is more than I could ever ask for in a friend :)

Yupp...There is my day in grace. Not the best ever, but hey, those things made me smile alot today. :)

Party!! :)

Last night we celebrated Miss Feather and Jeremy getting married. They got married about a week ago, but Miss Feather refused to let us have a party. So, my mom wanted to have a surprise party and Jeremy said that he would get her there somehow. She found out at the last minute, but he got her to come to the party anyway :)

There is Miss Feather's 3 year old daughter Nathalia. We were watching Noggin for a good chunk of the night, and Go Diego, Go was telling her to jump up, duck, and shake her body to help the road runner :) She looked so cute dancing around last night lol

Rachael works extremely well with little kids. lol Obviously. lol So, once Rachael got there, she was playing with Nattie for a while. Nat was loving it too lol

And there is the happy couple :) Everybody came down into the back room to play karaoke. Miss Feather was singing, Jeremy wasn't tho. :( lol We tried to get him to sing tho. It just didn't work lol

Those are 4 outta the 5 people who work at the front desk all the time. Like, check in/check out. The other one was sitting on the couch next to Dr. Howard, her fiance. Look at the belly on Miss Feather tho!!! :) I can't wait until the baby girl is born! I would put her name, but I forget how to spell it lol it's a pretty name, it's spelled the English way tho. lol Which, I can't spell lol

After the party, I went to Rachael's house for the night. We played Wii Sports for alil while. Oh, and I got my Wii Fitness age from 39 to 25 :) lol We stayed up until about midnight ish, then I went into Colton's room and fell asleep (he wasn't home lol). When I woke up, her and Miss Jenn were standing in the door way looking at me. Great. lol Just how I want to wake up every morning....My bestie and her mom waiting for me to get up. LOL We went to Wawa and got donuts and chocolate milk. It was pretty good lol Then Colton came home from his dad's. Jenn, Colton, and Jenn's mom went to mass while Rach, her grandfather, and I stayed home. Rach and I played Animal Crossing City Folk for a while. We were on our way to Delaware when my sister called saying that my mom and grandmom would pick me up at Cracker Barrel. Good thing we didn't get too far! lol

Oh, and I found out that my grandfather wasn't gonna come home today. He's not gonna come home for another few days. :( And on Thursday he was so upset cuz he wasn't gonna get to take me to Pittman to take my permit test. He really wanted to take me to go take it, which I find so sweet. Oh, and another sweet thing....My mom's cousin Amy went to church today on a strecher accompanied by a Hospice nurse. She went cuz her oldest, Lucas, was being baptized today. He said to Amy today, and the entire family that was there, "I want to give my life to Jesus" which made her so happy. She was looking forward to seeing her 7 year old baptized, and even tho we don't want to think about it, we are all thinking that since she got to see her baby baptized, she's not going to be with us this morning. She had more strength than all of us did today tho. She's had alot more strength than any of us have in a long time. Hopefully tomorrow won't be a sad day....

Tree burning

So, there is this thing we do in Pedricktown. Our Christmas tree burning. We are the only town in Salem County who is legally allowed to do this. We've been doing it for so long, the county just lets us continue to do it each year. Tonight, we burned Christmas trees.

Doesn't it just look awesome?? lol there was tons of smoke since they put a TON of diesel fuel on it this year. They didn't think that they were gonna get it to light lol

That is Rachael's little sister Madison. She's so cute. She wanted to cook a hot dog for herself, so we grabbed one, and out of the firehouse she walked to one of the smaller fires haha. Rachael saw me walking out there with Madison, realized we were gonna cook a hot dog, and she ran after us haha. She ended up cooking it for Maddie cuz Maddie didn't feel like doing it herself or something....Gotta love 7 year olds. LOL

Rachael and me!! =] I seriously love this girl. Like, really. lol She's been there for me through everything, and I am soooo happy her dad took her to the tree burning this year. Todd, if you ever read this....THANK YOU!!!! haha =]

Hehehe kisses make me smile =] or, at least Collin's kisses do lol I went to take a picture of us after the tree burning since I had taken one just as it started. and just as I started taking the picture, he kissed me on my cheek, and the picture ended up being of him kissing me on the cheek. Tho, I'm not complaining. Haha =] Obviously it's not hard for him to get me to smile lol ;] lol

That's one of our special things we actually do in Pedricktown. One of very few lol The next thing Pedricktown will have will probably be Pedricktown Day in October. So, yea, we have very few things in Pedricktown that are awesome lol well, take what you get I guess lol
