DIG 32 :)

Today has been a good day. So, here goes my DIG earlier than I usually would do it. :)

1) I got to hang out with my friend Edwin during his 15 minute break today. It made me happy cuz he is one of the few friends I made at work last summer. :) YAY friends! lol

2) Shannon's friend Ivy was in town today and we hung out with her. And Ivy's friends and cousin and cousin's friend were pretty nice as well to us. YAY for that! haha

3) Shannon is spending the night at Kellie's house. Which means that it's just me and Dad tonight. YAY! hahaha

4) I am starting to pack my clothes tonight to go home on Sunday!!! <3

5) It was my last day off from work before I leave for Jersey. :)

I should probably start packing up my clothes and other junk I have laying around the house. It'll take a little bit of time to get everything together and make sure all my clothes are washed, but it should work out. haha Tomorrow I'm working from 2 until 9:30, so I'm not sure if I will be able to post between now and when I leave. I might schedule a post tho. That is more likely actually. haha. :)

Oh, how I am thankful for things/people

I'm very thankful today. And here are the things/people I am thankful for:

1) Mrs. Burke - She met with me today and listened to what I had to say about Mike. She said she was going to talk to him and have the vice principal talk to him as well. She says that they can't really write him up cuz no teacher actually heard him say it, but I'm pretty sure she is gonna try to. Either that, or I'll have other people tell her that they heard him say it, cuz I know they did.

2) Having a working lawn mower - Poppop cut the front yard, and I cut the rest of it today. On my awesome riding mower. You have no idea how happy I am about that. I learned how to mow my lawn with the push mower, and I hated every second of it. My grandfather's best friend promised me that when he died, I would get his John Deere. Well, his son tried to make my grandfather pay an ungodly price for it, so my grandfather said no. And now, the house that his friend lived in hasn't sold either. So, we're thinking that it's because Marvin's son didn't do what he wanted to. Back to my story....lol So, I didn't get the John Deere, but my grandfather did buy a different one from somebody down the street from us, so now I have a rider mower that works beautifully. :)

3) Drama from last year is behind almost everybody - Last year, there were some issues with some of the academy girls in the year ahead of me. They got worse in the beginning of the year, but after about a month or so of me and Collin going out, the issues got better. Now they are completely better and over with. And this afternoon right after school got done, Cara (one of the ones who didn't warm up to me right away) looked at me and said cheerfully, "See you tomorrow at prom!!" and gave me a big smile. Which makes me feel tons better cuz Collin and I are sitting with Cara, her boyfriend, Bonny, Sam, Christian, and a few other people tomorrow night at prom as well.

4) My friends - While yes, Cassie has now officially dropped out of school, she says she'll try her hardest to be at my house tomorrow to see me all dressed up and she'll definitely be at pre-prom to see me. My friend Addam (inside joke on his name lol) said that if Mike says anything again, he'll take care of things and then made me laugh by making fun of Mike. Montrey said that he'll back me up on things with Mike. Eric said that he'll back me up too.

5) My dad being a lawyer - Knowning that he is a lawyer helps me stay calm in most situations. I know that if nothing happens with Mike saying things that if I just mention that Dad is a lawyer and handles things like this periodically, something will be done about it. I also know that he goes into court for things all the time and he is always under stressful situations. Knowing that helps me realize that no matter how hard things get for me, I can always make it through them.

6) My boyfriend - You knew that one was gonna be put on here. I can be as mad as I want to be, and he is always able to make me laugh. No matter how crappy I think I look or how mad I am, he always makes me feel better by saying 3 simple words: I love you. He always thinks I look gorgeous and he can make me smile and laugh as if it's as simple as blinking.

My mind went blank on the other things I was going to write that I'm thankful for. I did have to say those 6 things tho. Like, I just had to.

Philadelphia Regional :)

The Philadelphia Regional ended yesterday. I put some of the pics up here. Not many tho. I didn't feel like putting more than 5 up cuz I'm lazy. :)

Before I continue on....We did lose in quarter finals. Thanks to teams 222 and 11 for picking us to be on the 4 alliance with you. We all tried our hardest, and that second match should have been won by us. Team 316 is very sorry if we cost the alliance the wins.

4 outta the 5 girls....And I accidently cuz Ally practically outta the pictures. Sorry Ally!!! I did get a picture with each of the girls (except Shelby cuz she was busy doing other things) so hopefully that makes up for it? lol


There is always lots of dancing going on at the competitions. And even tho we were at Temple this year instead of Drexel and didn't have much room to dance, we still kept our dancing selves going. :) The few students 316 had were down there dancing, just not right where I took the pictures lol we were dancing underneath where our team was sitting. I got a few pics kinda. lol


Each match during elimination rounds were nerve racking, and Shelby and I were nervous as anything. Thank god we had Aaron coaching us instead of Mr. Hinde. I still wish that Mr. Hinde had completely made that decision without Aaron's input (Mr. Hinde said that maybe Collin should drive, but Aaron said that Shelby handles it better, so Mr. Hinde stepped down as coach cuz Shelby doesn't handle his yelling very well) but we still did pretty good.


And Dean Kamen even showed up!!! A bunch of us got our shirts signed (including me, Collin, and Ally to name a few of us) and then he lectured us pretty much afterwards (when I took this picture) about how we need to complete his homework. His homework was to register on the FIRST Community online thing. So, I did that once I got home last night. He wasn't too happy cuz like, nobody had registered by Saturday afternoon.....=/ It's never good when Dean isn't happy.


Mrs. Danner suggested to everybody that instead of everybody leaving straight from the regional to go home all sad cuz we were done for the season we go to Applebee's to end things on a high note. So, that's right where we went. :) We had fun laughing and joking around and just talking. The funniest thing was that the two couples on the team (Me & Collin and Shannon & Christian) were sitting at the same table lol So, it was like it was a double date. LOL

So, that was the Philadelphia Regional.......Not as good as the Finger Lakes Regional, but we still tried our best. :)

One COMPLETED project :)

Today, one robotics spirit project was completed. :) Finally. Hahaha. The tiaras for all the girls are done. Well, all except Shelby's because she wanted to make her's tomorrow since she isn't going to be at robotics tonight. Since she is the graduating senior this year, I just said to her "Yes, Shelby. I'll bring the stuff with me for you to work on it on the bus" like the good sophomore that I am. LOL

Her's was completed second to last. She got an astronaut on her's. She had told me to go ahead and do her's after she saw what I did to Allyson's. :)

I gots an alien on mine. :) I finished mine after Allyson's. There is a thing on the side that you can't see tho. the right side. Haha.

I finished her's third. She got the rocket going towards the moon just like Allyson did. :)
And last, but not least...Rachel's! :)


Rachel was the only one that got an input on her's. Only thing she got to pick tho was what color stars she got (the white with the purple inside). Her's was the last one I finished.

Tomorrow when we leave at 3:30 will be a good day and time. While I do love Salem County, I cannot wait to get out of here and go up to Rochester. We get to see Drew, one of the seniors that graduated last year. He was our homeschooling student, web designer, and scout master. We won't get to see Joey tho, who was our team captain, driver, and electrical guy. Oh, and he was also in the engineering academy too! Sucks that we can't see him....I want him to look at what an awesome job I did at the electrical this year. LOL :)

Now I have to get back to doing chores and getting ready to leave tomorrow. I'll hopefully be able to post my Day in Grace today...I've been slacking off without meaning to on it. Hope everybody enjoys the snow today! (Oh, if you can't tell....We got ANOTHER snow day today :) 4th one this year....YAY!!!)

Applebee's!!! =]

I meant to take pictures. I really did. It just didn't work cuz we were having too much fun laughing =]
Collin picked me up alil after 7 at Andy's house. He had to come inside to talk to Mom and Andy's little brother was talking to him too. Probably a good thing Andy wasn't there. LOL We texted Carly and told her we were gonna be a few minutes late.
We got there, and everybody was standing there waiting for the table. There was (when we got there) : Michele, Carly, Clay, Robert, Melanie, and Brett. Tho Brett didn't sit with us. Kaitlyn showed up alil after we did. While we were still waiting for the table, we had TONS of fun laughing with Rob and Clay about Mel and just about everything lol
Dinner was the same thing. Collin, being the gentleman that he is, bought my dinner for me. He had the appetizer sampler and I had a half order of the chicken caesar salad and a diet pepsi. I wanna say we got seated at around 7:30 ish, and we all got done eating at around 8:30 ish or so. Michele had also told the waitress that Rob's birthday is on Sunday. So, out came the ice cream. Which he didn't want to finish himself. So, Clay, Rob and I ate it. =] It was yummy...Chocolatly too. =] lol But that does not mean we were ready to leave. Oh no. We sat and gossiped. We talked about Katie H. and her boyfriend and how Rob was her fall-back guy after Dylan G. We talked about winter track. We talked about Mel's homecoming dilema one year. The list of stuff we talked about goes on and on.
Clay's girlfriend Ariel didn't come tho, so I was the only sophomore. But, it wasn't until somebody *cough cough* Collin *cough cough* mentioned that I was the only sophomore that Rob realized. Like, Michele and Carly and Clay and probably Kaitlyn knew I wasn't a junior like the rest of them. And I think Mel knew too. But Rob didn't know. lol After my loving boyfriend said that, Rob then said that I was not cool and that the juniors are alot more mature than sophomores are...What he didn't realize tho (at that moment) was that Clay was trying to get the knife to balance on the fork....Yea, real mature. LOL
Michele and I started to gossip like we did in middle school. Hopefully things go back to the way they were. We were saying how we missed middle school cuz we were so close and all the fun times we had in Virtual School (this dumb class we took, but we didn't do anything but goof off on the computer). It felt right again. lol
We left Applebee's at around 10 ish. We were both not happy to leave, but Denise said that Collin had to be home by 11. So, we decided to give him an extra 15 minutes to get home since it takes 15 minutes to get from Beckett to my house. Once we got here, then Collin decided to start sliding on the ice in my driveway. And just when he almost fell, my mom and sister pulled in. lol nice timing Mom and Shannie. LOL!!
So, that was our fun night. Hopefully Tonya and Denise are happy with the report. LOL!!! =]

Oh, and I just found out that robotics starts at 8 instead of 8:30....Grrrrrr

An insane 2 days with my buddy here =]

Ok, so, yesterday, last night, and today my sister and I hung out with our friend Kellie that we met 3 summers ago at a summer camp my dad signed us up for to keep us occupied during the day. We HATED the camp with a passion, but tried to keep in touch with some of the people we met there. Kellie was the only one we stayed close friends with.
Well, every time we're here in Santa Cruz, she catches a bus one day, and we hang out in Santa Cruz doing stupid things. This time, we went back with her on the bus to her house to spend the night. Oh wow, was it an interesting night. Haha. We laughed our butts off, teased eachother, and just had lots of fun. Then today, we walked around the 20 acres she has (ok, not the full 20 acres, but it was a long hike!! Haha) and then we finally went back into her room to chill before Shannon and I had to leave at 5:30 to be home around 6 ish. We threw empty Pop-Tart boxes at eachother, shoved our feet in eachother's faces, and just were having lots of fun. We were pretty upset when we had to leave, but we know that the second we leave California, we'll be counting down the days til we come back just so we can hang out with Kellie. Oh, and about the hike? I told Shannon that all the exercise we got was probably the most we were gonna get until after build season. She just laughed hysterically about that. Little does she know that it's actually true....lol

Cuz the picture Jackson took looks all messed up, and when me and Andy were driving around, the car was dark inside since it was like, between 9 and 11 that we were driving around and I didn't feel like taking a picture while at Arby's. haha. So, I'll have a picture up tomorrow night hopefully if Tonya will take pictures. Which I'm sure she will. hahah. =]


Today was a bit awkward driving around with Andy, but only when we were on our way home from Deptford. Cuz we were talking about stuff that kinda had been kept hush hush for a while. But I figured that since he's my best friend I can tell him what's really on my mind. I know that I really did do the right thing cuz I needed to say what I said. He didn't freak out or anything cuz of what I said either. He explained stuff to me that I was questioning, and asked me some questions that almost had me thinking the entire car ride to my house. So while I sometimes hate his guts cuz of stuff he does/says, I guess I always know I have someone to talk to. And someone who is always there for me when I need him. Friend wise. Someone who won't judge me, and knows me for who I truly am and who I have always been. Friendships that have lasted a lifetime (in our case 16 years) are hard to come by, and I hope we never lose our friendship.

Gotta love Fridays! =]

This Friday was especially good. Cuz, today is 20 days closer to Christmas. =]
Let's see.....How eventful was my day?? Not really that eventful. Health we took a vocab quiz, and then did like, nothing. it was awesome. Bio we took notes on the origin of life. Ooo was that fun. Then we watched a video, and we're gonna finish it on Monday. Other than that, nothing really happened. I went and talked to Collin like I always do before lunch, and then lunch itself was pretty interesting. Like always. haha. Algebra 2 we took a test, and then did quality cup. Our project is almost done!!! XD I'm gonna take pictures of our project on the 19 (the day we do Quality Cup) and post them on here then. It's banging. I'm not gonna say much on here about it yet, only cuz if somehow other academy kids in the other academies find out what our project is, that would be bad (not really, but oh well lol). Collin and Clay actually managed to come down even tho Collin had texted me and told me he had a test....He finished it in half the block even tho it was supposed to take the whole block. Haha. Stupid teacher thinks it'll take the whole block. lol Fourth block was kinda easy. Vocab test and then we read part of the first chapter of To Kill A Mocking Bird. It's ok I guess. Haha
And when school got out, my amazing best friend picked me up. He was gonna pick me up on Tuesday, but couldn't cuz he can't have 2 passengers who aren't family in the car at the same time. So then he was gonna stop by after Collin and I got home on Tuesday. But he couldn't come over. But today, Andy came and picked me up since he had a half day of school. XD I likes his car. Hahah.
And now I'm sitting in my back room listening to my poor kitten meowing cuz we had to put in him the crate since someone is here cleaning our house and he just gets in the way. It makes me sad hearing him cry like that. =[
I think I'll probably go get taquitos and then ice cream since I'm starved. =] Catch atcha later. XD
