DIG 28 I think it is

Today was a MUCH better day than yesterday was. So, here is my Day in Grace for Day 28 (I think)

1) Today was a day revolving around robotics. LOL Webchat all day with the team from about 12:30 this afternoon until about 5:30. Which was really fun.

2) Laughter filled a good chunk of my day (thanks to robotics nerds. hehe)

3) My dad took us out to dinner (pizza) before we saw a movie.

4) We saw The Lost Boys tonight at one of the movie theaters.


Yes, this movie is OLD. Like, from the 80's old I think. lol But, it's an amazing movie, and the movie theater we saw it at is doing a Flashback series of old movies. And while this movie is awesome to see in the comfort of your own home, it is even better in theaters.

5) We saw the movie with a bunch of my dad's friends. Alot of which have grown somewhat close to us in the 3 and a half weeks we've been here and they've been super nice to me and Shannon.

So, there's my DIG. Tho, I'm wanting to add an extra one...So, I'm going to. :)

EXTRA THING OF GRACE: I got lots of robotics work done today. Like, rough copies of paperwork that is needed for the fair we are doing and some office type things like planning who is taking what job for the publicity sub team. And it felt so much better that when I sent the things to the sub team mentor (my aunt) to look over to make sure it all looked right, she only said to make one change....Take out a coma in a sentence. I was sooo happy I didn't have to do lots of work. Soon all the things are going to be sent to the team leader for her to check, so this should be good. :)

I hope everybody had a great day today! I'm looking forward to tomorrow since we're going to possibly be hanging out with my dad's friends again at the boardwalk and he and I are going to get my work permit hopefully. :)

YAY!!!!!!!

Again, another really quick post......Something amazing happened today.....I GOT MY PERMIT!!!!!!!!! lol


Yupp. They gave me my permit today :) So far, once I got home I have driven to my ex's house to drop off sodas for his family and from my grandmom's house to mine. My mom drove from Andy's house to my grandmom's house tho cuz it was dark. I don't trust myself (and other drivers) at night while driving. lol mainly myself tho.

Oh, and that picture was taken when the car was NOT moving. lol we were waiting for my mom to get in the car so we could go home. Had to pose for a picture :)

Ice cream fun :)

Today, anybody who had a red, white, or blue card (kind of like a prize that PGHS gives to the students with really good grades and attendance) had to turn their cards in today cuz they expired on Valentine's Day. That doesn't mean that I didn't still use mine tho....lol!! But, so when we turned them in, we got to have ice cream for getting good grades the first marking period. I got two bowls of chocolate ice cream with oreo and chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Boy was it tasty :) Collin had gotten two of the vanilla with whipped cream and chocolate syrup....Mine were better. :) But, when eating it, I did think of Tonya cuz I know how much she likes ice cream. LOL

and now I'm even happier cuz my dad's friend from years ago from when he lived and worked in San Francisco found me on facebook and is now my friend on there. and we're talking about random things, and it reminds me how people who were really important in your life will surface eventually if they've ever been "lost" in a sense. He was always the best. We would hang out with him in the random parks in SF and throw a frisbee around and watch him and my dad play Ultimate Frisbee with a bunch of other guys. Those were the best days. Those were the early days of my parents' divorce too. At least I can remember those days with some good in them.


oh, and I had told Tonya that I would post a picture of our robot so if I didn't get in trouble that she knew she could as well. lol so, there is a picture of our robot, Sammy Su Botsy. :) She is a lovely robot, but her camera in the bottom right corner near the big thing in the middle is no longer there cuz Mikey rammed Sammy Su into the hand rail in Davidow. So, we have no camera. :( But, other than that, Sammy Su is perfectly fine :)

I'm sooo happy. Tomorrow we have off from school, and my mom said that I can go with Collin to Deptford to see a movie and go to the mall afterwards. =] That is, if Fred says we can take the Durango lol
Oh, and yesterday, I took a picture of our robot so far. Not gonna put it on here, but then Mr. Don took a picture of me taking a picture of the robot. The picture is above everything that I've typed so far cuz I can't get blogger to work out the way it should. Oh well. lol And you can only see the cRio on the robot, so it's all good =]
